Newborn photography.

Hey there everyone! well i did it, I am now working with newborn baby's and wow what a challenge..This is not for the faint of heart or someone with no patience. Let me just tell you a little bit about what happen during this shoot. Well it all started a few weeks ago when i photographed the baby's mom Cristina.

 She was such a joy and I could not wait to meet her little "muffin" as she called her I was a bit nervous  to work with newborns. However I was also just as excited so when i got the text from  Cristina a few weeks ago with a photo of her holding her new baby I went out and got some new props for baby's and started to plan for some shoots giving this was my first time working with a new born I did not want to mess this up! So two weeks go by I got my new backdrops and such and I am ready to go. Cristina shows up with Sofia and with a big smile on both her mom and Sofia face I knew these two were just as excited as I was. So when Cristina seen the set she was ecstatic. So we wasted no time I was hoping Sofia would take a little nap so we could mold her in the poses we wanted but she did not she was fighting the sleep monster for sure. So i was no worries lets just see what we can do. And well lets see 10 mins of shoots and oh whats that smell? You got it Sofia had a accident no problem we cleaned her up and the set and ready to go and then wait what is that water? lol nope Sofia has another accident. Oh wow the Joys of working with newborns this is something I did not expect since I have no children at this time. and all of the books you read about photographing baby's never say anything about this stuff. Well I said all of this to tell you all that after all of the events Sofia did take a small nap and we were able to get some beautiful photos. 11-11-11 Wedding of Nick and Gina

So for the past two years I have been wanting to photograph a wedding on such a lucky day as 11-11-11. On this day of 11-11-11 I had no plans I did not go to my day job and well I was just hanging out wishing that I were at a wedding. I got on Facebook posted "so its 11-11-11 who is getting married today" once again wishing I could get to shoot a wedding well as far as I knew there was no one that needed a photographer who has not already had one for this day. So at about 11:30am I get a phone call the mans voice on the other end is frantic "Joe Is this Joe? "  Yes this is is this Scott? "yes" Whats going on? " I need you! for a wedding the photographer who was coming to do this event had got into a car accident and will not be able to make it to this wedding"  Sure Scott when? "90 min's from now,i know its over a hour and 20 min drive" can you get here and photograph the wedding?" Well as I was a little hesitate cause i felt such a responsibility to get to the venue in time and able to get everything I need and get to the venue in time! Well I get to the venue and meet the family every one was so concerned and asked how i was so I had to explain that it was not me who got into the accident and I was his replacement. Well during the course of working the the bride and groom I find out the the bride is a model who used to model wedding dresses and the groom was a photographer needless to say this was one the the best and one of my favorite weddings of 2011!!!

Baby Photos.

So a few months back my wife came to me and asked me if I would be willing to photograph her friends first baby and since i have never done so I was a little worried I did not want to mess this up being so it would be the babys first photos. Well with all of the positive responce to these images I dont think I messed up at all I think I did very well and I am very please and so were the couple and their familys. Since this went so well I am now offering baby photography at a reasonable rate please contact me for packages.

Old north church. Boston MA

"

The church is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. It is the oldest active church building in Boston and is a National Historic Landmark. Inside the church is a bust of George Washington, which the Marquis de Lafayette reportedly remarked was the best likeness of him he had ever seen.

Old North Church was built in 1723, and was inspired by the works of Christopher Wren, the British architect who was responsible for rebuilding London after the Great Fire."

Here is the dock in Rockport Maine where the local fisherman come in and deliver the fresh fish and lobsters.This place is was so nice to vist I can't wait to go back. More images from this trip to follow.

This is the Motif Number one also located in Rockport Main at the inlet where the fisherman can park there boats and take a smaller boat to shore to tour the town. This building is a fishing shack well known to students of art as "the most often-painted building in America". 

Rockport Massachusetts

This is a private beach in Rockport Massachusetts called "PEBBLE BEACH" I have been to a lot of to a lot of beaches and nothing compares to the sound of the waves crashing and coming back threw the rocks this was pure serenity enjoy the photo.

Nubble Lighthouse. York Maine.

The Nubble Lighthouse In 1874 Congress appropriated $15,000 to build a light station at the Nubble. The Lighthouse was authorized for construction in 1877 by President Rutherford B.Hayes. In 1879 construction began and the Lighthouse was dedicated by US Lighthouse service on July 1, 1879. This place was almost sureal as you can tell from the photo.

Baltimore Grand Prix 2011 Day-1

 I had the pleasure of waiting almost a year for this, About one year ago i found out that the Grand Prix was coming to my home town in Baltimore Maryland I knew at this point that i could not miss this for the world! So since i freelance for a few newspapers I used this to my advantage and was able to get some media pass. At first we were told we would get a photo vest meaning that we could shoot track side while the cars come at you at almost 200 mph!! I was super excited but with almost everything new..something goes wrong...When i went to pick my pass up i was told i only would have access to a media center as if i was a journalist  I went to talk to some of the officials and got shot down no worries when life gives your lemons just make lemon aid and well this is what i did today as i was asked to leave the mayors suit and well sneaking in to a top of a parking garage to get a vantage point no one else would have and got tossed out of there too all and all it was a very exciting day and i must say i got some pretty nice shots for my fist time ever shooting this type of event.
